"FG, Chinese firm sign $1bn agreement on construction of mass housing" - Nigeria

The Federal Government yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Chinese firm, CGC Nigeria at a cost of $1 billion for the construction of houses and water supply in Abuja, in its’ efforts towards providing critical infrastructure in the nations capital The projects which are to commence in the first quarter of next year, according to Adamu Aliero, FCT Minister, are to be financed through a commercial loan to be obtained by the firm at the cost of $500 million each. ...- full story
